Conference Theme: Health Reform Implementation, Healthy Communities, and the Health Workforce Pipeline

The California Health Professions Consortium invites you to attend our 5th Annual Statewide Conference. The conference brings together leaders from health pipeline programs and academies, health employers and associations, health professions schools, workforce and economic development, government agencies, private industry and funders. The focus is on coming together in innovative ways to ensure a high quality diverse health workforce, improved health of communities and increased opportunity for our youth. This conference will provide you with opportunities to learn from and network with colleagues throughout California, address the critical issues in the forefront of the health professions pathway development, and build a stronger network of shared resources and best practices.

Key Topics Include:

•  Strengthening pathways to careers in healthcare, public health, and mental health.

•  Expanding, connecting, and sustaining K-Health Professions School pipelines.

•  Increasing opportunities for Boys and Men of Color.

•  Meeting priority employer and regional workforce needs.

•  Developing a diverse workforce capable of meeting ACA access, quality, and affordability goals.

•  Growing our own health workforce to build health and safe California communities.
