October 7-8, 2009

On behalf of Dr. Katherine Flores and Jeff Oxendine, I would like to thank you for participating in the California Health Professions Consortium October 7-8 Increasing the Scale, Sustainability and Impact of Pipeline Programs conference in Los Angeles, CA. Bringing the health career pipeline community together once a year is an opportunity for all of us to learn from one another, share ideas, meet new people and to renew our friendships. Since the conference we have carefully listened to many of you who have provided feedback either through our formal evaluation process or through comments we have received. We want to let you know we have heard you and are working with each of our CHPC Committee Chairs and the CHPC Steering Committee to implement your suggestions.

We owe a special thank you to all our sponsors whose generosity made the conference possible. It is with the support of sponsors like these that make such conferences possible and we are grateful for their unremitting commitment to increasing the diversity in the health professions. Lastly, we are deeply indebted to the numerous teachers, principals, counselors, program directors and all those who gave their time and energy to make this possible. Thank you all very much and we look forward to your future participation in upcoming CHPC meetings.

Again, thank you all for your time and continued support!
